Round Ripple baby afghan

This baby blanket almost didn't get made. I had tried several times to do the round ripple only to tear it out b/c I kept messing up somehow. After using the pattern for the Spiderman round ripple I found out that I had misread the pattern somehow and was doing 2 small V rows then 2 big V rows when it should have only been ONE small V row and 2 big V rows to repeat till you reached the size you wanted. This baby afghan is approx. 40" round done in pastel baby colors with a few rows of white. SOLD

Crochet Baby Poncho

This was a rather simply pattern....well...that is once I finally took the time to REREAD the pattern and found out that my first attempt was totally way off from what it was supposed to be. I didnt find that out till I started on the 2nd poncho. Needless to say after finish the 2nd one I ripped out the first one and started all over. So much easier when you actually read instructions right....a lesson that I have learned
These are supposed to fit newborns-3months but I bet some little girl would want them as well to play dress up with their baby dolls or teddybears.

Hats, Hats and More Hats

Recently I was asked if I would make a hat for their 91yr young mother so I went on a crochet hat hunt to find the right pattern. Found one but didn't have the colors that she wanted me to make. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO thanks to some other wonderful ladies out in crochet land I was sent a few other patterns that I have been making up. The top 7 hats are a pattern called Out West "Wenatchee" Hat and the bottom one without beads is called Crochet Bucket Style Hat

These are my step daughers modeling the hats I made

New to Blogging

I was asked by a friend if I had a blog up yet.....Guess you can say the only blogging I have done is in on myspace where I posted a blog about My Daughters. This will be a new adventure for me but guess a good way to share with others my favorite Hobbies and such.

A little abt me. I am a stay at home mom. I have two birth kids that are out on own now raising my grandbabies. (have 5 of them) I currently live with my boyfriend of 5 yrs who is a single dad. He has had 8 kids with 3 different wives. I am helping him to raise his 3 youngest girls. His 2 boys lives with his mom just down from us and his oldest 3 are out on their own now.

In my free time I love to craft (beading, crochet, plastic canvas are just a few to name) and do family research (Genealogy) I am also addicted to playing in neopets and chatting online with good friends. Currently have been working on crochet projects. Will post more of my craft projects as the time allows.

Hope you will enjoy reading my blogs.
